Chimera Lighting’s TECH Multi Bracket and newly designed Lightbanks Bring Octabank Power to LED Panels

Boulder, June 2016—Today, Chimera Lighting announced the TECH Multi Bracket (9224) for mounting 5 foot Octa lightbanks, Video Pro medium and large sizes, Daylite Jr. medium & large, and the OctaTech on LED panels. Until recently, output from LED panels was only strong enough to work with smaller lightbanks. But thanks to technological advances, the intensity of light from LED fixtures has increased to the point where using them in concert with larger Octa lightbanks is now a viable solution, with the OctaTech 5 #6250, Video Pro medium and large sizes, and the Daylite Jr. medium & large meeting the demand for a light modifier that increases the light aperture of the fixture.

This new style ring, the first of its kind, can accommodate square and horizontal LED panels from brands such as Litepanels, Cineo, Litegear, Ikan, Rotolight, Creamsource, and Arri SkyPanels.

Quick collapsing design allows for the adapter to travel compactly.

The extensive length of travel, over 12″ gives you the ability to center multiple brands of fixture perfectly.

To compliment these unique adapters, Chimera Lighting designed a new 5 foot (6250) Octa TECH lightbanks, addressing several key issues. The internal coating intensifies output strength and, in conjunction with the specially designed baffle, ensures even distribution of the light across the entire field. Equally as important is the adapter’s design, which optimizes LED panels’ beam angle for further control.
