The OctaPlus features a slim profile design, engineered to compliment bare bulb or “bug” style lights. Having a wide or omnidirectional light output is critical for achieveing an even light output from the Octa.
For tungsten, we hightly recommend our own Triolet fixtures, while for daylight HMI, fully exposed bulb fixtures are readily available from K5600 and Kobold / Broncolor.
Other fixtures with especially wide beam angles, such at the ARRI M-Series or select open face fixtures, may be compatible as well.
