Due to popular demand, Chimera proudly introduces two NEW Lightbanks plus a Lantern for the Creamsource Vortex8, available in September. All Chimera products are proudly handcrafted in Colorado using field tested, proprietary textiles so a long service life can be expected.
The POP bank for the Vortex8 attaches directly to the fixture without the need for a Speed Ring or bracket. Front screen is a Chimera Small size 24 x 32”/610 x 813 mm, which almost doubles the front aperture. This POP bank includes full & half Chimera Cloth screen and is packed in a compact messenger sack.
For a larger light aperture, try the Medium Lightbank for Vortex8. Utilizing a frame and classic Chimera pole construction, this Lightbank delivers beautiful smooth even light from a 36 x 48” / 915 x 1219 mm aperture. This Lightbank includes an internal baffle, full & half Chimera Cloth screens, and is packed in a zippered storage sack. The Medium Vortex8 kit includes the frame and Lightbank. The frame can be purchased separately.
The Chimera Lantern for Vortex8 adds versatility to your kit. Put a Chimera Lantern on your Vortex8 to get soft, overhead lighting that can be easily controlled with the included 4-sided skirt kit. The Lantern for Vortex8 mounts without the need for frames or rings and includes support poles to allow the lantern to be placed in virtually any orientation.
